Singapore's non-oil domestic exports (NODX) grew by 6 percent year on year in July, after the revised 13.9 percent increase in the previous month, Enterprise Singapore, a government agency, announced on Monday.
On a month-on-month seasonally adjusted basis, the NODX increased by 1.2 percent in July to 14 billion Singapore dollars (about 10.22 billion US dollars), compared to the previous month's 1.4 percent decline.
In a breakdown of Singapore's total NODX, the electronic NODX increased by 2.8 percent year on year in July, easing from the low-base driven expansion of 22.2 percent in June. Meanwhile, the non-electronic NODX increased by 6.9 percent year on year, after the revised 11.7 percent increase in June.
The NODX to Singapore's top 10 markets as a whole grew in July.
Singapore's NODX to the Chinese mainland decreased by 5.1 percent year on year this July, compared to the previous month's 0.6 percent increase.
In a breakdown, the electronic NODX to the Chinese mainland fell by 16.3 percent year on year in July, while the non-electronic NODX declined by 2.2 percent.
