Kazakhstan: export prices of wheat increased by more than 17% in January-July

In January-July, the prices of exported wheat increased by 17.3% compared with the same period year ago, the prices of barley – up 9%, reported the Statistics Committee at the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan (KazStat).

As for the imported goods, the prices of poultry meat grew by 10.2% within the reporting period, vegetable oil – by 11.2%, rice – by 19%, margarines – by 5.4%.

Generally, the prices of exported goods declined by 18.5% in January-July of 2020, while the prices of imported products increased by 1.5%.
