Finland reports 17.3 percent decline in H1 exports

The international trade in goods monthly statistics released by the Finnish dropped 17.3 percent in the starting half of the current year 2020.

Between January and June, the value of the imports of the country declined 12.2 percent compared to the same period a year ago in 2019 in the period between January and June.

The trade deficit of Finland stood at 1.7 billion euros (USD2 billion) in the period, rising 10 million euros compared to the same period a year ago.

The value of products that were exported from Finland in June came in at 4.5 billion euros, reporting a decline of 15 percent compared to a year ago, as the volume of exports declined 11.3 percent in comparison to the same period a year ago.
