Data published by the Finnish Customs on Monday said that the exports of Finland and imports decreased over 13 percent in July of 2020.
In July, the exports of the country stood at a value of 4.4 billion euros (USD5.2 billion), as its imports came in at 4.8 billion euros. The exports reported a yearly decline of 13.8-percent as the imports dropped 13.6 percent in comparison to July of 2019.
In the period from January to July, the yearly drop in the value of the exports of the country came in at 16.8 percent, as the imports came in at 12.3 percent, the trade deficit of the country came in at 2.1 billion euros in the period.
Exports to the European Union (EU) declined 9.8 percent and exports to non-EU countries lost 18.0 percent in July compared to a year ago, imports from EU member countries decreased 12.2 percent and from non-EU countries lost 15.3 percent in the same month.
