According to the National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT) on Tuesday, Nov. 17, exports of Italy rose 2.1 percent annually during September. As the country is facing the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the most recent number is a hopeful indicator for Italy's economy. ISTAT noted that, the first going back to expansion since February of this year was witnessed in September. Sales to non-European Union (EU) countries in a rise of 2.8 percent, and the sales to EU countries 1.4 percent afterward was the major factor of the expansion.
