New Zealand dairy exports to China drops

New Zealand

The statistics department Stats NZ revealed on Thursday, January 28, that New Zealand's main goods export, dairy products, fell 377 million NZ dollars (USD270 million), or 19 percent, in December 2020, compared with the same month in 2019. The decline in dairy exports was mostly because of a drop in sales to New Zealand's main export market, China, according to Stats NZ. Total dairy exports to China dropped 21 percent to 740 million NZ dollars in December 2020. This was led by falls in milk powder, it added.
