The Ministry of Agriculture announced that the country's agricultural exports amounted to a record 8.496 billion dollars in 2021. 27 countries have opened their markets to 57 Colombian products thanks to the Colombian government's Health Diplomacy strategy, this 112% more than the goal established in the National Development Plan. “In terms of admissibility, it is worth highlighting the opening of Korea to the country's Hass avocado. According to the report of the National Administrative Department of Statistics (Dane), traditional products such as coffee, bananas, and flowers accounted for 62.8% of exports, while non-traditional products accounted for the remaining 37.2%. Exports of non-traditional products amounted to 3.162 billion dollars. The most outstanding growth was seen in Tahiti lime (+60.3%), passion fruit (+55.1%), and avocado (+50%). The main destinations for Colombian exports in 2021 were the United States, with 3.147 billion dollars and a 37.0% share, Belgium, with 447 million dollars and a 5.3% share, The Netherlands, with 399 million dollars and 4.7%, and Germany, with 362 million dollars and a 4.3% share.
