Bilateral trade between Egypt and Sudan has witnessed a remarkable development in the last period, the Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry, Nevine Gamea, said. Egyptian exports to Sudan reached $496 million in 2019, a 19% rise from $418 million a year earlier, Gamea revealed in a statement on Sunday. This came during the talks held between the trade minister and the new Sudanese Ambassador to Cairo, Mohamed Elias, to explore the possible means of fostering commercial, industrial, and investment cooperation between the two countries.
