Bosnia's Serb Republic 10-mo trade gap shrinks 4.7%

The trade deficit of Bosnia's Serb Republic fell 4.7% year-on-year in the ten months through October, to 906 million marka ($549 million/463 million euro), the entity's statistical office said. Exports decreased by an annual 8.7% to 2.8 billion marka in the January-October period, while imports dropped by 7.8% to 3.7 billion marka, the Serb Republic's Institute of Statistics said in a monthly report on Monday. The entity's largest trade partner in the first ten months of 2020 was Serbia with a share of 16.6% of total trade turnover, followed by Italy with 14% and Germany with 9.9%. The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
