Abu Dhabi-Bahrain non-oil trade reaches $1.04bn for 11M 2020

The General Administration of Abu Dhabi Customs has shared that the volume of non-oil trade exchange between Abu Dhabi and Bahrain through the emirate's ports has amounted to $11.3bn (AED41.83bn) during the period from 2015 to November 2020. Abu Dhabi’s trade with Bahrain during the first 11 months of this year amounted to $1.04bn (AED3.83bn), divided into imports worth $332m (AED1.22bn); exports of $313m (AED1.15bn); and re-exports worth $397.5m (AED1.46bn), UAE's state-run news agency Wam reported.

 

Abu Dhabi's foreign trade with the kingdom was divided into imports worth $2.48bn (AED9.11bn); exports worth $3.08bn (AED11.32bn); and re-exports worth $5.82bn (AED21.4bn), through 107,000 customs transactions between Abu Dhabi and Bahrain during the same period. The machines, audio and video recording equipment and their accessories accounted for the largest share of the total trade between Abu Dhabi and Bahrain, followed by ordinary metals and their products, and then followed by chemical industries or related industries. Textile products and their manufactures came fourth in the total trade outcome between the two sides.
