Nigeria exported crude oil and gas worth $1.64 billion between May 2020 and May 2021, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation said Monday. The corporation said in its financial and operations report for May that it recorded $219.75 million worth of crude oil and gas export sales for the month, a 180.29% increase in sales on April. Proceeds from crude oil exports amounted to $181.19 million compared with $4.22 million contribution in the previous month, while earnings from gas stood at $38.56 million.
