The export of goods from Serbia last year reached the value of 21.6 billion euros, an increase of 26.8% year-on-year, while imports increased by 24.6%, to the figure of 28.61 billion euros, the State Statistical Office announced.
The value of Serbia’s external trade last year amounted to 50.22 billion euros, an increase of 25.5% compared to the same period a year earlier. The deficit amounted to 6.9 billion euros, 18.3% more than in 2020, reports Beta news agency. The export to import ratio was 75.6%, which is higher than last year’s when it was 74.3%. Serbia mostly traded with the countries with which Serbia has signed free trade agreements, while trading with the EU Member States accounted for 60.3% of total trade.
